INGREDIENTS
- 4-5 medium sized Potatoes
- 1/2 cup grated Cheese
- 3/4th cup Corn flour
- 1/2 tsp Black salt
- 1tsp Chilli flakes
- 1/2 cup finely chopped Coriander
- Oil (for frying)
- Salt (according to taste)
METHOD
Boil and peel the potatoes.
Mash the potatoes.
Take a big mixing bowl, add the mashed potatoes.
Add black salt, cheese, corn flour, chilli flakes, coriander, salt and mix well.
Bind it together into a dough.
Take a chakla and grease it with oil.
Grease the rolling pin and your hands too.
Take a big portion of the dough and roll it evenly on the chakla with the help of the rolling pin.
Do not make it thin. Keep medium thickness.
With the help of a cutter, or knife, cut the flattened circle into long stripes.
Cut it from the middle too.
Fry them to golden brown.
Garnish with spring onions.
Serve hot with sauces and tea.
